Profile & Expertise

RRAPK is a nongovernmental association of legal entities supporting the development of Pardubice Region. It provides consultation services for SMEs on strategic planning, subsidy titles, preparation and administration of projects financed by the EU and national funds. RRAPK closely cooperates with Pardubice region, representing the interests of the local governing bodies of towns and villages, and coordinating problems related to their economic development.

Role in the project

RRAPK will contribute to most project activities by a) providing input to the activity leader (Monolithos) regarding the administration and the financial management of the project, contributing to communication and dissemination tasks and also providing input for the semi-annual quality reports ((WP1). Further, RRAPK will engage in data collection and data preparation activities in the Pardubice region and conduct preliminary research on territorial specificities and needs (WP2). RRAPK will a) contribute to collecting information on the candidate fleet of HDVs in the Pardubice region, b) support the application of the pilot retrofitting process in a vehicle in its region, and c) convey information on PGM savings for further analysis (WP3). Finally, RRAPK will contribute to the consortium exchange and dissemination of experience with the organization of one workshop and one event.

Contribution to knowledge building in the region

RRAPK will draw on its long-standing capacity for local and regional networking with stakeholders, and for collaborations with local SMEs, regional government and other regulating authorities. Given the organization’s key role in consultation processes regarding development and innovation-driven projects, it will communicate the advantages of the INNOCAT technology to key authorities (e.g transport authorities, municipalities, environmental authorities), liaise them with private contractors and advance a synergistic approach to PGMs use reduction and innovative catalyst substitutions for publicly owned fleets of HDVs; it will thus contribute to knowledge diffusion about PGMs savings and to increasing the supply of sustainable public transportation and heavy-vehicle use. Additionally, it will have positive impact on the local economy by deploying a commercialization strategy and by creating a favourable framework for local uptake and dissemination of the technology.
